Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Process Maintenance Technician to join our Turquoise Ridge operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor, the Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenancePerform crushing and conveying maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers and several types and configurations of conveyor belting structures, both fixed and mobilePerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent safety and attendance recordrequiredMillwright, or similar, with welding and/or mechanical experiencerequiredHousekeeping standards are maintained to a high levelrequiredWilling to work in a team-based maintenance organizationrequiredDemonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervisionrequiredAbility to work in adverse weather conditionsrequiredBasic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumaticsrequiredSkilled in mild steel cutting and position weldingrequiredAbility to lift at least fifty (50) poundsrequiredExcellent verbal, written, and radio communication skillsrequiredAbility to perform the essential functions of this positionrequiredExperience with conveyors, chutes, crushers, rollers, pulleys, and bearingspreferredExperience with preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screenspreferredUnderstanding of basic oil analysis, thermography and vibration analysispreferredUnderstanding of precision alignment techniquespreferredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.Job Identification228201Posting Date2024-05-02Job ScheduleFull timeJob CategoryMaintenanceLocationsWinnemucca, NV, United States
