Responsibilities
• Safely driving a vehicle within and complying with safety regulations• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations• Detecting and minimizing safety hazards• Maintaining accurate records• Loading/Unloading freight if required• Other assigned tasks
Requirements
• Minimum 21 years of age• Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience• Pass a Ryder Drug Test• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check• Pass a DOT physical• Must have a valid driver's license• Ability to follow instructions• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Key Skills Needed
• Class C CDL• Safe driving skills• Compliance with regulations• Ability to load/unload freight
