Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for geriatric patients Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and personalized care Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Stay up-to-date with geriatric nursing practices and participate in professional development activities Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Graduation from an accredited nursing program Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in geriatrics Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Ability to work effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays BLS certification (Basic Life Support) If you are dedicated to providing excellent care to geriatric patients and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you. Length of assignment: 14 weeks
Pay rate: $1,512 - $1,584
Guarantee hours: 36 hrs
Work schedule: 05:45pm- 06:15am
Pay with OT: Would be discussed during the interview
Taxable rate : Would be discussed during the interview
