Responsibilities
• Supervise operating crews and support staff• Ensure safety and adherence to corporate policies• Lead investigations and recommend changes• Conduct efficiency tests and safety activities• Maximize asset utilization and increase productivity• Manage rail cars and inventory• Understand business requirements and service commitments• Resolve local issues and interpret variances• Work rotating days/nights shift• Operate trains as needed
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED• Previous railway experience as a conductor or engineer• Valid driver's license• Operational knowledge and certification in conductor/engineer roles• Strong understanding of collective agreements and regulations• Problem-solving skills and ability to provide constructive feedback• Ability to work rotating days/nights shift
