Job summary
TOSA, Teacher Development - Propay LeadCollaborate with the Teacher Development Team to oversee implementation of Teacher Development and Q CompLead the implementation of the MPS ProPay program
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with other TOSAs and DPFs on Teacher Development Team to oversee implementation of Teacher Development and Q Comp• Lead the implementation of the MPS ProPay program, including training and guidance for ProPay instructors and participants• Collaborate with Professional Development Coordinators to support administration of ProPay• Support best practices and principles of adult learning• Work collaboratively with other members of the Teacher Development Team, PAR Mentors, and other district teams to support creation and implementation of district-wide Professional Development for licensed educators• Collaborate with others to support projects and initiatives aimed at increasing teacher retention• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Valid Minnesota teaching license• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience• Extensive knowledge of best practices for adult learning• Demonstrated success in working independently and collaboratively on a team• Demonstrated success in developing and leading/facilitating professional development for adults• Experience in teacher leader position preferred• Demonstrated success in working with students and staff of racially diverse backgrounds and improving student achievement• Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule (43 weeks) with opportunities for extended and/or flex time to support summer planning and summer professional development.
Key Skills Needed
