Employer Info Our client specializes in engineering and fabrication of rig systems, wellbore technologies and completion and production solutions.
Job Summary Our client is currently building units for their top drive drilling systems. They are looking for an individual who can read interconnect diagrams and is able to perform the necessary electrical assembly work (assembling, wiring and installation of electrical j-boxes, electrical routing, electrical termination, etc.)
Job Description Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place. Install finished assemblies or subassemblies Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools Perform functional / continuity tests on completed assemblies May prioritize work based on production schedule Perform the assembly, start up, and function test of equipment systems Troubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs and any corrections to system Perform other work-related tasks as assigned Comply with all Client Company and HSE policies and procedures FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble production tools from blueprints and verbal instructions. Set up and test units or subassemblies to specifications Communicate with engineers to resolve problems related to production tools Troubleshoot production tools, repairing if necessary Install precision bearings, perform precise alignment of moving parts Perform assignments in accordance with written procedures Ensure quality documents are completed in compliance with company procedure
Skills Required Must be a team player At least 2 years of previous assembly or mechanical/electrical experience At least 2 years of electrical wiring experience Ability to troubleshoot Ability to read and understand electrical drawings (Client's drawings fall under the standard ISO symbols that an electrician should be able to understand)
Education/Training/Certifications High school diploma or GED Additional Requirements Work Hours: Dayshift, 5:00am – 5:00pm. All candidates must be comfortable with weekly OT Pay Rate/Salary Starting at $58,240 - $66,560 annually.
