The event work of the department involves a crew of roughly 7-12 part-time phone and ticket window representatives handling customer inquiries as well as management of the inbound help email, coordination with other event staff and responses to tour needs. This will be a full-time, salaried position that will work year-round.
Required Accountabilities & Deliverables: Supervise part-time event night staff, including daily shift updates, requests for additional training information and coordinating with Director of Ticketing on performance reviews, payroll, and other human resource tasks.
Oversee customer service needs during performances including coverage of walk-up ticket windows, inbound phone calls and email requests and concerns.
Coordinate with Operations and dining staff to ensure seamless coordination of all event night guest experience touchpoints, monitor event reports and provide sales reporting as requested.
Act as main ticketing point of contact with all Broadway tours including maintenance of required holds, processing of tour comp requests, daily sales reporting throughout the entire sales period and delivery of settlement documentation by intermission of each performance.
Assist with regularly scheduled data maintenance in Tessitura, including the processes of correcting data entry on new accounts, merging of duplicate accounts, creation of household accounts and other tasks as needed related to company data entry standards.
Maintain complimentary ticket channels throughout the year and ensure timely processing of all complimentary tickets including but not limited to: Starlight staff, tours, City & Parks, Community Tickets and other comp needs as determined by the organization.
Assist Director of Ticketing with additional duties as needed including coverage as needed for other Ticketing Supervisors and as backup customer service rep during high-volume periods.

The above listing is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned to meet the evolving needs of the organization. Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of related box office and/or customer service experience.
Ability to perform in a supervisory capacity including skills related to training, communication, time management, problem solving and conflict resolution.
Experience working with the Tessitura CRM is a plus.
General computer literacy and abilities to work with Microsoft suite of products is essential.
Bachelor's degree in Arts or Administration or related field preferred.
Other Working Conditions: This role has a variable schedule with more than forty hours in some weeks, depending on performance calendar. Eligibility for remote work will not exceed two days per work week.
