Telehealth Behavioral Or Cognitive Trained Neurologist

We have an opportunity for a Telehealth Behavioral orCognitive trained Neurology Physician to join our team in Albuquerque, NewMexico. Your primary role is to remotely diagnose and treat patients withneurological conditions impacting behavior, cognition, and mental processes.Utilizing telemedicine platforms, you'll assess individuals with disorders suchas Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury,and others affecting cognitive function and behavior. Your responsibilitiesinclude conducting virtual consultations, interpreting patient history andsymptoms, performing cognitive evaluations, and recommending treatment plans tomanage symptoms and enhance quality of life. Collaborating withinterdisciplinary healthcare teams and providing remote support and guidance topatients and their families are integral aspects of this role.

Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Neurology withspecialized training or experience in Behavioral or Cognitive Neurology. Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico. Experience in telemedicine or willingness to undergotraining in telehealth platforms and practices. Strong communication skills to effectively conductremote consultations and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcareteams. Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine technologies andelectronic health records systems. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality andadhering to ethical standards in telehealth practice. Ability to work independently and efficiently managevirtual clinic schedules and patient appointments. Willingness to stay updated with advancements intelemedicine and neurological research and treatments.
