Millennium Corporation is hiring a Technical Writer in Huntsville, AL.The candidate must have an active secret clearance.The ideal candidate will have proven success as a writer in a highly technical field.

Responsibilities
• Serve as writer/editor for cyberspace security assessment reports.• Interface with technical personnel and interpret data/drawings to gain technical details of completed assessments.• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with the customer to understand project requirements.• Gather assessment information from the customer and develop, organize, and write reports that accurately capture outcomes.• Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.• Work independently within a team environment with a customer service focus.• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives.• Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.• Able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
Requirements
• Passion for technical documentation development and revision.• Ability to evaluate and analyze complex information.• Proven success as a writer in a highly technical field.• Active secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.• 8 or more years of practical experience as a Technical Writer.• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.• Strong knowledge of Office 365.• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.• Experience in working with cyber professionals to improve deliverables, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
