Tx Systems is looking for a qualified full-time Technical Administrator to join our team. This position will involve working in several areas including network admin, technical support, sales support, testing, engineering, phone system admin, website updates, PC support, and hardware wiring. This position has room for advancement.
Tx Systems is a provider of smart card technologies used for cybersecurity and multifactor authentication in both government and enterprise environments. We also specialize in application development and integration services for various industries for identity and access management, connectivity, and security.
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude with a willingness to learn a complex technology and be motivated, well spoken, and interested in pursuing a career in technology sales. This position will focus on mobile and computer access control and some government support services. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science. Tx Systems will provide training however, a solid technical
background is a must.
Responsibilities Network administration and internal IT support Technical support for hardware and software installation via email and phone Hardware testing and evaluation for new and returned devices Device programming, updates, and hardware wiring Phone system and internet administration Website updates Learn how to install, demo, and support various Multi Factor Authentication software solutions Work with our senior sales engineer to provide demos and interface with customer support issues Requirements 0 – 3 years sales experience Working knowledge of Windows Networks and Active Directory Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment B.S. or B.A. with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Communications, Economics, etc or another applicable field is a plus Excellent verbal (phone) and written (email) communication skills Ability to multi-task and good attention to detail Ability to take own initiative, research, and learn quickly Punctual and reliable PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience Web development and technical support experience is a plus, as is military experience, electrical (low voltage), CCTV, social media technologies experiences Some travel may be required, mostly in the San Diego area Must be legally authorized to work in the US Knowledge or exposure to the following areas is a plus: Windows Networks, MacOS, Linux, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Microsoft Entra, Cloud Domain Structures, Oracle, Android, iOS, Active Directory, Server Set Up, Smart Cards/RFID, Photoshop, HTML, SSL Certs, VB, C++, Java, JavaScript, VB, C++, C#, Java, Objective C, Apache, PKI, Certificate Administration.
