Team Leader of Banking Transactions Location Oklahoma City, OK : The Team Leader of Banking Transactions will oversee the employee level transactions of all client funded accounts. This includes review of bank transactions, research and the recovery of outages, account monitoring, and continual process improvement. The Team Leader of Banking Transactions will have a strong working knowledge of all functions within the Banking department as they relate to the payroll process, as well as an advanced understanding of banking operations. They will have the ability to monitor workflow and coordinate job duties as needed to ensure all critical functions are completed timely and accurately. They will have a critical role handling complex banking/payroll issues. They will assist management with various projects. They will assist with ensuring our banking relationships remain positive, strong, and ethical. They will assist with critical banking functions including reporting, internal and external audits, as well as help ensure policies and procedures are updated and followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist supervisor in report preparations Test any new system enhancement relating to Treasury Operations Manage multiple payment platforms Format files per bank specifications Manage escalated issues from team email inbox Research and decision email alerts from various banks Troubleshoot problem situations and work with other teams and departments for process improvement Gain intermediate to advanced knowledge of international transaction processing Facilitate meetings with other departments for resolutions and brainstorming Ensure that policies and procedures are updated per ISO 9001 regulation Ensure that policies and procedures are followed as written Ensure NOCs are updated timely and accurately to avoid any NACHA violations. Take calls and respond to emails in a professional manner providing resolutions or redirecting as needed Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance Analyze team metrics for staffing and development needs Assess, manage, and redistribute job functions among team members as needed Conduct one-on-ones with each team member Ability to perform all team functions as described in Treasury Operations Specialist and Senior Treasury Operations Specialist s as needed Consistent personal leadership growth Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree or applicable experience equivalency Experience: 3+ years of Banking experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting Experience: 5+ years of accounting or bank operations experience Skills/Abilities: Intermediate knowledge of accounting Intermediate knowledge of bank operations Intermediate reconciliation techniques Advanced knowledge of bank operations Advanced knowledge of ACH Rules Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively Maintain effective working relationships with others Ability to adapt and adjust to new situations and/or tasks as they arise Ability to develop your team to the next level of their career Eagerness to continue learning High sense of urgency Very detail oriented Paycom is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
