Responsibilities
• Develop roadmaps and engineer solutions for on-premise and cloud platforms• Prepare cloud solutions for business needs• Maintain vendor partnerships and evaluate future options• Establish and improve governance for offered platforms• Promote common patterns and automation• Create and maintain procedures, training, and work instructions• Collaborate with IT Group Leaders, CIO, and CISO• Manage a team of technical professionals• Deliver ORNL's mission aligned with core values• Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 10 years of IT experience• Project management and platform delivery experience• Understanding of monitoring solutions and dashboards• Preferred: 5+ years of enterprise operations experience• Preferred: 3+ years leading enterprise IT operations• Preferred: 3+ years in IT Strategic Planning• Knowledge of support and life cycle enterprise platforms and services• IT related certifications, such as ITIL• Additional preferred experience in DevOps, Software Quality Assurance, platform engineering, cloud services, and federal IT compliance
