Responsibilities
• Review and manage tax returns for all entity types• Review financial statements, perform accounting and adjusting entries• Prepare and review complex tax planning projections• Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates• Prepare or review complex U.S. and state tax returns• Conduct tax research and prepare memorandum• Respond to IRS and state agency audits and inquiries• Communicate directly with clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives• Lead department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience in Public Accounting• Experience in individual and corporate tax compliance and planning• Experience in partnership tax and gift/estate/trust returns a plus• Outgoing and friendly personality, team player• Forward-thinking and always looking for ways to improve and learn• Desire and ability to train, mentor/lead, and develop staff
