OVERVIEW OF THE TAX ASSOCIATE ROLE:
Assist in the preparation and review of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies
Collaborate with senior team members to provide comprehensive tax planning advice
Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide exceptional service
Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving tax processes
Work as part of a multi disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience to clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TAX ASSOCIATE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification or working towards CPA eligibility preferred
Strong understanding of tax principles and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
