Job TitleSystems Design Engineer - Medical Ultrasound (Bothell, WA) Job Description Systems Design Engineer - Medical Ultrasound (Bothell, WA) To play a critical role in creating our next generation of ultrasound products as an Ultrasound Systems Engineer. Your role: Contributing to the development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and SW implementation.
Apply physics, signal and image processing, and machine learning techniques to develop new features that better patient outcomes.
Directly prototype and implement real-time features onto Philips ultrasound machines.
Participate in the design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems and transducers.
Work with ultrasound engineers to translate marketing/customer requirements into engineering specifications.
Work with other ultrasound engineers and clinical product managers in-person to evaluate new features
You're the right fit if: You have experience in ultrasound research and/or ultrasound product development (required) and depth is signal and image processing.
You have earned a Masters in Electric and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics. (Ph.D. preferred).
You've demonstrated experience developing new algorithms into prototyping and then into real-time on-system prototypes.
You are experienced in Python, C++, and Matlab programming languages.

Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $177,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
