Responsibilities
• Responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications and infrastructures• Responsible for application processes such as the start-of-year (SOY) and end-of-year (EOY) updates• Provides recommendations for applications and technology improvements• Consistently demonstrates an informed knowledge of FNS application functions• Supports highly complex business application processes and leads applicable projects• Evaluates personal computer/network hardware, software, and related services and recommends purchases• Responsible for improving operational efficiencies to optimize performance and increase quality• Develops computer systems solutions for users and prepares documentation describing workflow processes• Provides technical support for the central office, warehouse, and computer technicians in FNS• Maintains and updates the FNS website, the publication of weekly menus, the listing of POS menu products, and other POS settings
Requirements
• Graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree in computer information technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred• Three years' experience in a related field• Experience in project management, systems analysis, business processes or food services is preferred• Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered• Knowledge of principles and practices of systems administration• Knowledge of project management and automation of workflows• Knowledge of administering in-house training and staff development programs• Ability to evaluate personal computer/network hardware and software issues• Ability to maintain confidential information• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
