The Garrett Group seeks a skilled System Architect/Software Developer to fulfill key responsibilities at the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER). In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting routine assessments of service deployment certification events and mandatory prerequisite training, essential for supporting Combatant Commands (CCMDs). JCER relies on comprehensive evaluations of venues, events, and units, while upholding established standards such as the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework.
Qualifications: Required Experience: Proficient in developing, designing, and maintaining software solutions to facilitate effective product development and information sharing. Demonstrated ability to develop, adapt, and design software to meet analytical requirements. Versatility in multiple high-level programming languages such as C++, Python, JavaScript, MATLAB, etc. Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience. Desired Experience: Experience in facilitating data reduction, particularly utilizing software solutions to streamline tasks and organize data. Proficiency in designing, populating, and maintaining databases. Familiarity with modeling and simulation frameworks, software integration, and documentation. Experience in building and developing programs for managing data, including familiarity with various tools and platforms. Ability to develop and administer data management systems and databases, with expertise in SQL and SQL Server. Proficiency in developing programs using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio. Experience in consolidating data from diverse sources and generating common formats. Ability to facilitate data entry and retrieval for analysis and reporting. Bachelor of Science degree in computer programming or related field. Duties: Reviewing and evaluating proposed technologies for tasking, data sharing, visualization, and collaboration to ensure compliance with DOD information systems, security policies, directives, and instructions. Collaborating with government organizations to identify, review, and evaluate candidate data sources and applicable data standards. Assisting and supporting personnel with the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of software and infrastructure. Supporting data collection during evaluation planning, execution, and analysis, and providing data collection training.
