Title: Structural Steel Estimator - Erection/Construction
Job Description:
We are seeking a Structural Steel Estimator with expertise in the construction/erection of complex steel structures to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating projects involving the erection of structural steel components for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
* Estimate costs for structural steel erection projects accurately and efficiently.
* Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
* Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on project scope and complexity.
* Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for submission to clients.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
* Experience in estimating structural steel erection projects.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
