About the team: Join our dynamic Capital Markets segment at FIS, the growth engine of the enterprise. Under the leadership of the Chief Business Officer (CBO), who is responsible for overarching strategy and transformation, our team plays a pivotal role in propelling FIS forward. We're looking to bolster our efforts with two strategic hires dedicated to spearheading Business Transformation within the Capital Markets segment and advancing our Enterprise AI Strategy.
About the role: We're seeking a Strategic Planning Manager who exemplifies leadership and versatility, with a proven track record of executing cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight. This role requires a professional who is adept at managing multiple programs, possesses robust analytical and communication skills, and is capable of engaging with executive leaders across the company.
What you'll be doing: Oversee the strategic planning function, focusing on the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives to enhance business growth, productivity, and profitability
D evelopment of annual plans and 3 year long range planning (LRP) for the segment, as well as establishment of Objectives and Key Result (OKR) framework to define the organization's success and track overall process towards achievement of those goals
Conduct comprehensive market analyses to gather critical industry insights; integrate these findings into the broader business strategy to guide the company's competitive positioning and innovation efforts
Lead the preparation and facilitation of high-level meetings, including board meetings, leadership offsites, and strategy sessions, ensuring that agendas are purposeful, materials are prepared, and outcomes are actioned
Manage and streamline the CBO's communications, acting as a liaison to other executives, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain clear and effective communication channels
Lead special projects that span across various functions, driving initiatives from concept through execution, and ensuring that strategic objectives are met on time and within budget
Act as a strategic advisor to the CBO, providing insights and support in decision-making processes and ensuring alignment across executive initiatives and company goals
What you bring: Financial services experience and in-depth industry experience 5+ years of work experience is preferred Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (including executives) Ability to understand and focus on clients' needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks Added bonus if you have: Advanced Presentation and PowerPoint skills Advanced Excel skills (Macros, etc) Power BI capabilities AI workflow (or eager to learn and adopt these) What we offer you: At FIS, we are as committed to growing our employees' careers as our own business.
