Responsibilities
• Gather and clean dirty dishware from tubs• Load dishracks onto belt and operate dishwashing machine• Unload and inspect clean dishes, stack in specified carts and shelves• Manually scrub pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment• Polish silver, stainless steel, and pewter used in food service• Maintain and repair dishwashing equipment• Clean and organize dish room and kitchen• Mop kitchen floors and clean work surfaces• Empty trash cans and sweep loading dock and entrance areas• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of dishwashing required• Ability to see minute objects and read meters and controls• Physical ability to bend, squat, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs• Ability to travel and stand for long periods of time• Good communication and multitasking skills• Ability to handle fragile equipment with care• Ability to work in indoor and cold environments
