Under general direction provided by the Organizational Change Assistant Chief (Staff Services Manager II) with the California State Payroll System (CSPS) Project the Organizational Change (OC) Readiness Manager performs management duties to support the work of analysts performing work as Agency Change Experts (ACEs) to create awareness, understanding, acceptance, and commitment to prepare impacted stakeholders for the California State Payroll System (CSPS) Project. The mission of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team is: CSPS OCM supports and guides Department Agency Readiness Teams (DART) to champion adoption of a modern payroll and personnel system through proactive communication and training. We do this, in part, by consistently demonstrating the values of clarity, credibility, communication, consistency, collaboration and customer care.
The CSPS project will replace the current personnel and payroll systems for state employees. CSPS will deliver a modern solution for human capital management including core HR functions (position control, personnel administration, benefits administration, and time management), travel and business expense and Payroll with employee self-service and streamlined business processes through innovative technology solutions. The project will impact over 300,000 state employees. The OC Readiness Manager will combine complex analysis on business needs with project management tasks, which includes in-depth analysis, evaluation, and planning for critical organization change readiness of the CSPS Project.
