Under the supervision of the California Department of Technology (CDT) Statewide Technology Procurement (STP) Deputy Director, the Staff Services Analyst (General) performs a variety of analytical, special project, and administrative assignments related to reportable Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications (Telecom) projects in accordance with Public Contract Code (PCC) Sections 12100 and 12120 and compliance with the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Framework.

The Staff Services Analyst (General) position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making, or participating in the making of, governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within thirty (30) days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment. Working Conditions
The incumbent may be required to work outside of normal business hours. The incumbent may be required to travel to customer State agencies/departments within the Sacramento area, work onsite at the customer State agency/department, and carry a smart phone. The incumbent must be proficient in Word, Excel and familiar with Outlook, and have a working knowledge of PeopleSoft ERP, Fi$Cal, and Cal eProcure, as they will be used regularly.
