Staff Scientist - Experimental Physicist

IBM Quantum is seeking an experimental physicist to accelerate our understanding of potential quantum device limits, as applicable, due to decoherence, cross-talk, noise sources, and other non-idealities.The ideal candidate should have an extensive background in the general area of physics with hands-on laboratory experience. Prior experience with experimental quantum computing platforms is highly preferred (e.g. neutral atoms, trapped ions, dots, etc). Successful work streams will be highly collaborative and will intersect other teams to drive the overall project forward.
