Job Description
As a Staff Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in developing Quality, Reliable, Durable vehicles for customers around the globe. Successful applicants must possess a strong interest in Reliability, product testing, and customer support. Workload will consist of leading cross functional groups to identify reliability challenges; drive to robust reliability solutions early in the development; and track reliability through product launch. Projects will be targeted to high profile new products, technology, and vehicle launches. The position requires presentation of status and findings allowing diverse management exposure. Develop methodology to set Reliability goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to engineers and junior team members.
Create frameworks and methods used to develop Reliability test plans.
Work to integrate Reliability into all phased of vehicle and component development. Qualifications You'll have... BS Degree in Engineering, Statistics or related STEM field 5+ years' experience in Reliability, Quality, Testing or Product Engineering 5+ years Reliability Modeling Software 5+ years experience in Reliability Statistical Models Even better, you may have... Master's Degree Engineering, Statistics or related STEM field Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several complex tasks simultaneously Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations. Experience communicating and presenting to the senior leadership team. Ability and willingness to travel to both Ford and supplier domestic and foreign locations. Hands on product testing experience Battery Electric Vehicle experience Experience in manufacturing.
