The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is a critical role responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger maintenance and financial reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information and supporting the companys strategic growth. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable including processing invoices verifying accuracy and making timely payments. Oversee accounts receivable including issuing invoices collecting payments and managing customer accounts. Process payments from clients & perform collections from overdue clients. Create and share critical financial reports to a variety of stakeholders. Monitor and manage deferred revenue. Interface with outside vendors / payees Maintain the general ledger & assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting while documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Manage and comply with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Analyze financial data identify trends and provide insights to management. Support with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis. Assist with yearend closing procedures and audits. Stay up to date on accounting best practices and regulations. Collaborate effectively with other departments including sales product development design and management. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage several tasks simultaneously. Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft NAV Dynamics. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
