Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant with Savills, you will work cross-functionally with other members of the finance department assisting with various reporting requirements and projects. This position reports to the Assistant Controller.Main Responsibilities:Calculating and posting various types of journal entriesCompleting bank and other general ledger reconciliationsAnalyze a significant volume of transaction documents for proper revenue recognition and timely processing in our systemsReview operations reports and obtain feedback from field offices for use in analyticsCreate new vendor profiles within Accounts Payable module including verification of W-9 information in accordance with Company policyInteract with other Finance teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Tax and Treasury and management at our field officesAssist with projects assigned to the reporting group from our parent companyAssist with year-end financial audit and internal auditsAssist with the implementation of new ERP technologiesOther ad hoc projects as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting1-2 years of experienceMust have knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesIntermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft ExcelAbility to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesSolid verbal and written skillsBe deadline oriented with an attention to detail
