Staff Accountant

Job summary
Looking for a highly motivated Staff AccountantResponsible for accounting close process, AP, AR, and process improvementsWill report to VP of Finance and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities
• Month-End Close• Compile and analyze financial information• Prepare journal entries and accruals• Perform accounting reconciliations• Accounts Payable• Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely• Facilitate invoice approvals• Process outgoing payments• Act as resource for payment status updates• Accounts Receivable• Manage cash application for customer remittances• Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting deadlines• Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders• Other accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
• B.S. in accounting or similar preferred• 2-3 years accounting role for goods/products company• Strong knowledge of US GAAP• Expertise in QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar software• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets• Comfortable with technology and software integrations• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
