Specific Duties & Responsibilities Apply statistical methodologies to assess accumulating data in trials involving water, sanitation, and hygiene. Prepare tables and figures for study monitoring reports and publications. Prepare internal review board (IRB) applications for research studies. Design forms for qualitative and quantitative data collection; and conduct qualitative data analysis. Lead and contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Supervise students. Travel to study sites trips in Bangladesh and the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 3-4 weeks twice a year to each site. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in related discipline. Typically require PhD. One-year related experience. Require highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research. Demonstrated ability on significant graduate project or additional doctoral education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing study databases for clinical trials. Demonstrated proficiency in Access. Experience conducting data cleaning and analysis for clinical trials.
