We are seeking a  Sr. Research Data Analyst who will create and maintain study databases for clinical trials (cluster randomized trials), cohort studies, and formative research studies. Work with a senior epidemiologist and biostatistician to conduct data cleaning and relevant data analyses and interpret results
Specific Duties & Responsibilities Apply statistical methodologies to assess accumulating data in trials involving water, sanitation, and hygiene. Prepare tables and figures for study monitoring reports and publications. Prepare internal review board (IRB) applications for research studies. Design forms for qualitative and quantitative data collection; and conduct qualitative data analysis. Lead and contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Supervise students. Travel to study sites trips in Bangladesh and the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 3-4 weeks twice a year to each site. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in related discipline. Typically require PhD. One-year related experience. Require highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research. Demonstrated ability on significant graduate project or additional doctoral education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing study databases for clinical trials. Demonstrated proficiency in Access. Experience conducting data cleaning and analysis for clinical trials. At least one publication as lead author on qualitative data analysis. Starting Salary Range: $55,200 - $96,600 Annually ($75,900 targeted; Commensurate with experience)

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
