Job summary
Seeking qualified professionals for Senior Process Engineer rolesLead design, optimization, and troubleshooting of pulp and paper production processesDevelop and implement process improvements, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Lead improvements in processes for consistent manufacturing of containerboard paper grades• Work closely with GP's Collaboration and Support Center to build predictive modeling• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, eliminate waste, reduce cost, or improve quality• Develop and maintain process documentation• Maintain and track key metrics and provide explanations for metric performance• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for new projects
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a process engineering role in the pulp and paper industry• Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and practices• Experience managing capital projects• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Effective communication and collaboration skills• Proficient in using various software tools, such as Microsoft Office, Pi, ISOE Pro, etc.
