This includes operations and maintenance, and engineering for the existing Technology Developmentfaband the new ID1 HVM productionfab. Scope covers cylinder, liquidsourceand bulk process gas systems, and all process chemical and slurry distribution systems including bulk that directly and indirectly support the entire campus and remote sites! Scope also includes product inventory management and incoming quality control. Manages an engineering team responsible for base build & equipment installations. Team provides design engineering support for existing system modification,upgradesand new equipment installations. Responsible for the overall department budget, system operational compliance to specifications, people development and continuous improvement.Additionalresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety & Quality:Championsrequiredsafety training and conducts all workin accordance withMicron and Technology Development (TD) safety policiesEnsures teams applies and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performedFollows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance including PPE,CoHE(lockout /tagout) and chemical safetyFollows-up on EHS related issuesimmediatelyand works towards resolution with team membersCompliance:Ensures alignment to applicable local,stateand federal agency rules and regulatory requirementsDrives Micron policies and external quality and EHS certification standardsCoordinates with internal environmental, safety and legal teams to ensure area policies areaccurateand clearArea Performance:Implements asset integrity programs to ensure the reliability of the facilities operations in a manner based on a total quality approachEnsures area managers develop standardized processes,metricsand bench-marking programs to improve performance of systems, equipment that the organizationOversees department budgets and drive cost savings and efficiency programEnsures area financial budgeting, forecasting, and expenditures for operations and projects areaccurateEnsures area leaders review trends and end of life data to resolve expense budget and capital needsDevelops long term improvement strategies by supervising area processes and systemsCommunication and Collaboration:Maintains communication with other area managers to ensure facilities and production needs are being addressedEstablishes regular working interaction with peers from all Micron sites and alignment to Global standardsDevelops trust with customers byproviding assistanceand adviceEstablishes and communicates long term strategic goals and directionTeam Development and Performance Management:Conducts performance management and professional development of area leadersDevelops meaningful performance targets for the organization and communicates line of sight goals to leaders and individual contributorsLeads by example,demonstratingMicron values when performing business and interacting with leaders and team members to craft a positive and effective cultureFosters innovation, continuous improvement, and growth within teamEstablishes a succession plan for all critical positionsSuccessful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of semiconductor and facilities systemsKnowledge of state/local/federal requirements and policies thatimpactthe organizationAbility to communicate and present technical information effectivelyAbility to accurately analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisionsDemonstrated ability to mentor and successfully guide the performance of direct and eventual reportsDemonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups and build strong peer relationshipsDemonstrated ability to develop and promote technicalexpertiseEducation and Experience:A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience5 years of Facilities experience5 years of leadership experienceExperience in semiconductor front end manufacturing preferredAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
