Position: Senior Corporate Travel Consultant
Location: Remote (continental U.S.), ideally within the KC metro area
Responsibilities:
Arrange and coordinate travel schedules for employees, including executives, adhering to corporate travel policies.
Utilize Sabre GDS or similar systems for airfare, hotel, and transportation bookings.
Negotiate vendor contracts and manage budgets for meeting and incentive travel.
Provide VIP services and assist with Concur bookings and updates.
Mentor new team members and facilitate training sessions as needed.
Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain flexibility with work hours.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the travel industry.
Travel certifications preferred.
Extensive experience as a travel agent or corporate travel consultant.
Proficiency in Sabre GDS and Concur Travel.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
