Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement care for assigned patients• Adhere to all standards of Speech Therapy Practice Act• Provide therapy care, supplies, equipment, and interventions to patients• Serve the pediatric population ages 0-18 years• Demonstrate understanding of functional/developmental age of individuals served• Fulfill the mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital• Support the strategic plan and goals of Performance Improvement Plan• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
• Preferred certifications: Vital Stim, FES, MBSIMP, and E-Swallow• English is required, bilingual preferred• Current Louisiana SLP License is required• Current BLS is required• ASHA Certification is required after completing clinical fellowship year
