Lane County's "Life skills" program which utilizes classrooms in the Eugene SD and Springfield SD.

Hours: 8 am – 4 pm (could be earlier hours if in elementary building)
Start and End date: 9/3/2024 – 6/13/2025 Job Description: Identify patients needing specialized speech or language services, instruction, curriculum, activities, and support them with solutions that enable them to thrive. Facilitate individual and/or group therapy activities and provide progress reports and documentation as needed. Supervise support staff as needed and consult with fellow nurses & physicians regarding accommodations, needs, instructional strategies, necessary equipment, and support. Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language disorders. SLP #1 - Works at Lowell SD (20 miles from Eugene). ***This mileage is considered normal daily commute and won't be reimbursed for mileage. If provider is asked to travel to other districts during the workday, this would be reimbursed for mileage through the Lane Co. ESD. Caseload: 40-45 K-12 students; majority is Elementary students. Position will be the case manager for "speech only" students (not related services students). Position conducts Kindergarten screening at beginning of year. SLP #2 & #3 - Works within Lane County ESD's "Lifeskills" program, with classrooms located in Eugene SD and Springfield SD only, providing speech, language, or related services to students. Caseload: 40-50 total students; 9-12 students per classroom. Provider works with one classroom each day for days 1-4, with 5th day allocated for planning, reporting etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or a State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) preferred. Pay :
