Job Type:
Develop and implement customized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, collaborating with parents, therapists, and fellow educators.
Modify teaching materials and methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities.
Deliver direct instruction in core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development tailored to each student's requirements.
Work with colleagues to create and execute strategies for inclusive education and tailored learning within the general curriculum.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay ranging from $35 to $45. Competitive compensation package. 401k matching program. Health, Vision, and Dental insurance options available.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid state certification in Special Education (VA). Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Special Education is preferred. Prior experience in creating and implementing IEPs, and adapting instruction for diverse learners is beneficial.
