This Senior Data Warehouse/ETL Developer will be supporting an external client located in Cambridge, MA. This role is expected to have a strong background in managing database store, database performance, is expected to work amongst a team.
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all data imports, exports, and other interconnections to and from the Data Warehouse (DW). Develop technical requirements, level of effort and scheduling estimates, and implement DW enhancements as requested by the DW Steering Committee. Adjust existing ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) routines for new data elements and data sources and integrate new data into DW. Oversee and monitor SQL System Agent jobs and analyze any failures. Architect, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy ETLs based on the Standards and needs. Manage database storage, database performance, data availability, perform database compaction and manage the Data Warehouse database size. Perform database consistency checks between Data Warehouse and all other system interacting with Data Warehouse. (e.g., Delphi) DW health check proposal and Implementation Required Knowledge and skills MS SSIS (Extract, Transform, and Load) Data Warehouse Architecture & Design Concepts SQL System Agent MS Office Tools MS SQL server 2014 or later Azure cloud platform SharePoint Visual Studio, Git and GitHub Business Analysis MS SSRS MS Power BI
