Responsibilities
• Identify and assess sources of academic concerns• Serve as a liaison between family and school regarding educational needs• Implement appropriate intervention strategies with students and families• Collaborate with school staff to address factors impacting student performance• Serve on committees to address students' social and behavioral needs• Conduct home visits for communication and collaboration with parents/guardians• Liaise with community organizations to mobilize resources for educational support• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Current CT Certification/Licensure or reciprocity from another state• At least 1 year of experience in an elementary school program• Bachelor's Degree or higher• Demonstrated strong behavioral and therapeutic skills
