Job Summary Our client is currently seeking for a Skid Build Project Manager who is responsible for project coordination and planning, documentation and communication, defend project execution to specifications required in the project, schedule management, create and maintain formal risk register and drive mitigation plans with team.
Job Description Project Coordination and Planning Update and Maintain Pump Tracker (Excel). Collaborate with Lead Pump Engineer on issues and their recovery plans. Support and drive Root Cause Analysis with Lead Pump Engineer. Collaborate with Warren Operations team on detailed plan for operations, testing, and planned witness inspections. Coordinate FAT dates between Warren and McDermott for Witness Points. Documentation and Communication Coordinate directly with Third Party inspectors for all witness points. Issue NOI's (Notification of Inspection). Administratively handle documentation submittals and returns from customer.  Requires capturing customer comments in a CRS (Comment Resolution Sheet), distributing to technical team (sometimes yourself) revising the documents, then resubmitting for approval. Monitor, Control, and Track all related QA documentation in digital format but also in the physical binders for each package.  Collaborate with Warren and Monroe QA as needed to fulfill project documentation requirements. Communicate with Customer Project Manager on a daily basis as needed or once per week meeting to review status/schedule/open items. Issue Resolution and Technical Defense Coordinate between Lead Pump Engineer and Technical Leads at Customer to resolve issues. Submit and defend Deviation Requests. Technically defend project execution to specifications required of the project. Schedule Management Update MS Project Schedule weekly and track slip/slack relative to committed dates. Team Meetings and Reporting Lead team meeting with Warren Team three times a week, capture minutes, commitments, and upcoming actions and distribute to the team. Lead team meeting with Monroe Team once per week, capture minutes, commitments, and upcoming actions and distribute to the team. Lead daily stand-up meetings in Fab Shop capturing actions and monitoring progress to build plan. Deliverables:
Resource Loaded MS Project Schedule. Daily meeting minutes with actions, due dates, and owners. Create and maintain formal risk register and drive mitigation plans with team. Weekly delivery forecast showing critical path, risks and mitigation plans showing variance to baseline. Identification of resources (people or equipment) required to compress schedule, if needed. Skills Required Mechanical Engineering background Oil & Gas Industry preferred Prior experience working with or for an Engineering, Procurement, & Construction firm.
Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferred) Additional Requirements On-site role; part time (40-50% variable depending on situation at facility) No Foreign Nationals or Dual Citizenship (US Citizen Only) Projected duration: Current completion forecasted for end of July 2024. Pay Rate/Salary $53.85 - $80.77/hr depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and/or location.
