Team Member to Elder ratio: 1:5 on day and evening and 1:10 on night
What you'll do:
The Shahbaz position is to protect, sustain, and nurture the elderly by providing assistance with activities of daily living and meeting other needs as required. The core goal of the Shahbazim's work is to provide assistance in a manner that promotes a high quality of life and positive elderhood. The responsibilities of the Shahbazim include taking care of the elderly and the elderly's environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping. The Shahbaz is a member of a self-managed work team and is responsible for coordinating aspects of the team's work.
What it Takes: A licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state.
Computer experience
Excellent communication skills including knowledge of, and ability to use, the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially older adults and those living with cognitive differences.
Must be ServSafe and CPR Certified within the first six months of employment.
