Company Description The Service Manager role is pivotal as the principal technical and maintenance leader within the multifamily property. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the operations leadership team to ensure impeccable customer service. In this capacity, the Service Manager will directly lead, develop, and support the maintenance team.Salary: Up to 65kJob DescriptionDaily supervision of Maintenance staff members including delegation of work orders, special projects and time management techniquesInspection and oversight of existing and completed work ordersHVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requestsMentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff membersInvolvement with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team membersProvides written monthly energy management recommendations for the buildingIdentifies capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bidsAssists in budget preparation for maintenance expensesQualifications3-5 years experience in a hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering with 2 years supervisory experience leading a team.Excellent customer service and computer skills.Ability to create a team, mentor and train a teamExtensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers and H.V.A.C.
