GATR Truck Center is seeking to hire a full-time Service Advisor in our ELK RIVER MN location. We are hiring both 1st shift (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM - Midnight) . WE OFFER EXCELLENT BENEFITS INCLUDING: Health Insurance - Significant employer contribution Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-term disability & long-term disability 401(k) plan with company match Paid training Accrued paid time off (PTO) Clothing Allowance PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with policy and the technician skill level required, to ensure department profitability Schedules service appointments, obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible Checks the progress of repairs throughout the day and contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time Explains cost and time requirements of repairs in detail and gets proper authorization before any repairs or additional repairs are required When repair is complete, explains completed work and all charges to the customer and obtains customer signature on repair order Provides customer with a complete copy of the repair order Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures Maintains an accurate and up-to-date work in progress log Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress Coordinates part requirements with the parts department and contacts customers immediately upon receipt to schedule appointments **This position comes with a $2,000 signing and referral bonus as well as a team bonus program.
