The ideal candidate for this position must be available to work weekend nights and should be flexible to adjust as needed. This is a fast paced, high volume position as theater Guests will arrive and order within a small window of time. Special events happen regularly in the theaters, which may coincide with regular service. Only candidates that thrive in a busy environment should apply. Being mindful of the overall theater experience with a special appreciation for our actors and the sanctity of their art is a key function of this role.Essential Functions:Be able to move gracefully within a theater environment while also being warm and pleasant to guests looking to enjoy the show in an often boisterous environmentGreet and spiel each table in a warm & welcoming mannerMake recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beveragesTake food & beverage orders from GuestsWrite down orders and enter them correctly into ToastFrequently check in on your tables to ensure they are enjoying all aspects of their experienceAccept Guest payments, process credit cards and make change (if applicable)Assist your Busser and other team members in clearing plates and silverware or running food and drinks to ensure all Guests have a great experienceLearn all of the ingredients and allergies in our food & drink menuMaintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areasAssist the restocking and replenishment of restaurant inventory and suppliesOther Functions:Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Theater as directed by the restaurant Manager or immediate SupervisorComplying with health and food safety standards, restocking items and cleaningProvide great customer service and follow Fifty/50 Restaurant Group policies & proceduresBe a positive, upbeat and personable at all times while workingBe able to stay calm and collected in what could at sometimes be a stressful environmentPhysical Functions:Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as neededBe able to lift up to 20 pounds frequentlyWill frequently reach, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in dataWork in both warm and cool environmentsHigh levels of noise from music, Guest and Employee trafficMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
