Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with Regional Manager, Underwriting Team, and other colleagues• Execute regional marketing and sales strategies• Solicit new and renewal submissions from brokers• Determine terms, conditions, and pricing using approved rating plans• Adhere to all underwriting standards and guidelines• Bind coverage and issue policies• Thoroughly and accurately document underwriting files• Handle more complex files and portfolios within underwriting authority
Requirements
• Fundamentals of coverage, terms and conditions• Risk assessment and analysis• Understanding of financial statements and ratios• Proficiency in marketing and communications• Ability to use systems and software programs
