What You'll DoWe are seeking a skilled Image Sensor Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Image Sensor Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge image sensor technologies. This is a highly impactful role where you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and drive the success of our image sensor engineering programs.In this role, you will manage the entire lifecycle of image sensor projects from concept to production. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of image sensor solutions. Your expertise in image sensor engineering will be crucial in providing technical guidance and ensuring the highest level of product quality.The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual with a strong background in image sensor engineering and program management. You should have a deep understanding of image sensor technologies and their applications in various industries. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Location: San Jose, CA. This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your timeTravel: With an average of 25% travel  Job ID: 41972Support and enable design wins through custom-designed silicon and semiconductor components.Project management of sensor development (design, schedule management and integration), and long/short term business planning.Help clear definition of image sensor specifications and drive development schedules internally.Lead technical communication between customers and internal engineering teams. Understand customer voice and requirements and guide development engineering and planning teams to deliver exceptional products.Build relationships with internal stakeholder teams such as Marketing, Product Planning and Development teams to know and understand S.LSI's differentiated Image Sensor offerings, roadmaps and strategies.Develop and build relationships with customers' teams to understand their technology needs, application requirements and jointly define the best solutions to enable customer's products.Monitor and report on customer evaluation and design status to ensure customer's needs are proactively being met. Prepare customer status reports, issue tracking, and summaries of customer requirements.Manage customer programs/projects across sites (US & Asia) to ensure strong team collaboration in resolving customer issues.What You'll BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering major.5-8 years customer applications support, and camera/image sensor design/validation and characterization.Experience managing the development and execution of complex engineering programs.Knowledge of camera design, operation and performance metrics; understanding of optics, image processing, video processing, module electro-mechanics.Knowledge of CMOS image sensor design, operation and key performance metrics; understanding of pixels, analog circuits, ADC, digital processing, and high-speed interfaces.Demonstrated ability to comprehend and consider both technical and business informationExperience with international OEM/ODM silicon foundry partners.Understanding of high-volume production and test processes.Willingness to travel overnight up to 25%Lab experience in validation, characterization and RCA (preferred)Experience in Imatest and Matlab is a strong plus.You're inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.You're collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change
