Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (MBI) Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install and configure patches and upgrades. Configure and maintain Tableau Server and components. Monitor and optimize Tableau Server performance and troubleshoot and report issues. Implement and maintain security best practices, including data encryption, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) configuration, and user authentication methods to protect sensitive VA and Veteran data. Manage server resources, including disk space, memory, and Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage. Create and maintain standard operating procedures for Tableau Server configurations, processes, and best practices. Configure and manage Tableau Server settings, subscriptions, and licenses. Secure and monitor Tableau data gateways and workspaces. Implement data governance policies and access controls. Optimize Tableau performance and troubleshoot user issues. Provide technical support and training to Tableau users. Required Skills and Experience Experience with planning and directing research or development work on complex projects. Experience evaluating costs and recommendations of new project components. A knack for learning new technologies. Good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges. Professional Certifications Certified Tableau Server Associate
