Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Experience in managing engineering design projects. MEP experience, preferred.
Lead and align project team
Understand project requirements and develop budgets for required project activities
Analyze, manage, and minimize project risk(s)
Maintain Client communication, ensure Client satisfaction, and maximize repeat business
Ensures project team communication is effective and lead project meetings
Plan, monitor, and manage project delivery
Delegates specific, measurable, and time-bound assignments to project team
Proactively manage project scope and schedule
Ensure project milestones are met with quality deliverables
Manage project changes and mitigates financial and schedule impacts
Manage reports and project documentation
Monitor progress, and forecasts resources and cash flow requirements
Monitor, control, and reports project financials
Budgets and amendments
Expenditures
Invoicing
Collections
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in the MEP field/disciplines
Must have 10-12 years of related experience. With a min of 3 years of project management experience.
RA, PE, PMP, CCM (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP (preferred).
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience in managing projects with multiple clients and multiple contracts
Experience in design of vertical projects preferred (i.e., facilities, mixed-use or single-use buildings, commercial and residential buildings, etc.)
Experience in management of projects teams during the design, bidding and construction administration phases
Experience with mechanical/electrical systems a plus
Experience in managing multi-discipline teams
Knowledge of MS Project, Microsoft Office Suites
Knowledge and experience of Project Management concepts
