Senior Pricing Actuary- Hybrid

About the Role The Americas actuarial team within Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is looking to hire an individual to lead the actuarial support for our North America D&O portfolio.
This role offers a blend of technical leadership and business acumen. The individual in this position will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the (sub)portfolio performance, loss drivers, and trends. In addition, this individual will work closely with the product owner to develop strategies to navigate hard and soft markets.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
Regular reviews of projected (sub)portfolio profitability Ownership of pricing model performance and required updates Analysis of both internal and external data to understand market trends Partnership with business leadership to drive strategic direction About the Team We are the actuarial team providing support to multiple Corporate Solutions businesses across North and Latin America. We work closely with our business partners to offer portfolio steering support based on data-driven decisions. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their portfolios, becoming product experts, and advocates for their products to senior management.
About You D&O pricing experience required ACAS/FCAS designation required Critical skills: Self-motivation and ability to work independently Strong organizational skills needed for managing multiple priorities Internal drive to push projects forward and meet deadlines Curiosity to understand "what" the data is saying and "why" Interest in developing data-based strategic actions in partnership with portfolio owners Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues Ability to turn technical insights into practical guidance Creativity to consider actuarial problems in new ways Experience with SQL, R, and/or Python preferred but not required Preferred locations are Kansas City, MO or Windsor, CT.
