OR BA/BS DegreeMust have warranted contracting officer experience with federal facilities with contracting forconstruction and A-E services with projects that exceed $10 million contract award.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS ExcelAdobe Writer, Outlook, Microsoft TeamsDuties:This work is within the USDA ARS Facilities Division (FD) directly supporting Facilities Division Director Building and Facilities (BF) funded programs. The enrollee will provide contract management support services for construction and A-E contracts that are managed by ARS. This position will require the enrollee to work at the direction of a Contracting Officer, performing the work required to manage these contracts. The enrollee will manage project funds, requesting release of funds but not obligating the funding themselves. The enrollee will attend weekly project meetings. The enrollee will support closing out BF projects and getting projects off of WHIP reports. Would have to make site visits to BARC and visit the job site. Because the projects are infrastructure projects, the project site will most likely require access by able body personnel.
