What you'll be responsible for: Circle is looking for a cross-functional, seasoned finance leader to support the development and implementation of Circle's Investor Relations program.
Circle is one of the leading and highest profile companies in blockchain technology, which we believe will fundamentally change the financial services industry. Becoming a public company is a key element of Circle's strategy and a successful public listing is a unique challenge for Circle's Investor Relations.
Circle is an entirely novel, dynamic, evolving and complicated investment story with no public market comparables for investors and analysts to consider. A successful IPO will require investors to have a deep understanding of Circle's business, strategy, competitive positioning, and growth prospects. Most critically, investors must have confidence in Circle's management team. Achieving all this will largely fall on the IR team and its ongoing engagement with investors and analysts.

What you'll work on: Supporting the VP, Investor Relations & Capital Markets and the CFO in developing, maintaining and enhancing Circle's relationship with sell side analysts and buy side investors.Working with Circle's investment bankers on the planning and execution of Circle's IPO.Developing close cross-functional relationships with Communications, Strategy/Policy, Legal, Marketing, Product and other areas within Circle whose functions are directly or indirectly important to Circle's public positioning.Maintaining and enhancing Circle's own valuation models.Gathering and assessing market intelligence from equity research and investor and analyst engagement.Continually having a deep understanding of the market's perception of Circle.Developing strong company and sector expertise to understand strategic, operational and financial developments at Circle and the ongoing evolution in the blockchain/crypto environment.Contributing to the development of public company materials including quarterly earnings, conference presentations, management briefings and other relevant public company documents.Crafting IR internal reporting for senior management.Leading IR's role in assessing and developing ESG policies expected by public investors.Being prepared for any number of unexpected demands in the incredibly dynamic operating environment that Circle occupies.You will aspire to our four core values: Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail. You reject manipulation, dishonesty and intolerance.What you'll bring to Circle: 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong track record in strategy/financial analysis.5+ years of specific experience in investor relations or related areas (investment banking, sell side research, buy side portfolio management) preferred.Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's degree preferred.High level understanding of financial statements and models including valuation models.Demonstrated understanding of capital markets, particularly equities.Experience and understanding of disclosure and other regulatory obligations of a public financial services company.Articulate communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to think both tactically and strategically.Experience working confidently with senior management. Base Pay Range: $175,000 - $225,000 Annual Bonus Target: 17.5% Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy.
