Responsibilities
• Ensure all indirect tax compliance, audit, and accounting obligations are completed• Deliver all indirect tax obligations in a timely manner• Improve processes and integrate automation• Resolve indirect tax related issues• Manage sales and use tax audits• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for indirect tax accounts• Research and communicate tax law developments• Evaluate business activities for filing responsibilities• Support the item file team• Assist with special projects and other duties as requested
Requirements
• 2+ years of tax or finance experience• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven tax department• Minimum 3 years of indirect tax compliance experience• Minimum 3 years of audit experience• Experience with process automation, improvements, and standardization• Analytical and tax research skills• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately• High attention to detail• Working knowledge of relevant software and systems• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
