Senior Frontend Engineer - Camera Platform

OverviewIn the newly formed camera platform team, we are building a) distributed low-latency alert and notification systems that will be used by hundreds of thousands Verkada devices all around the world; b) Verkada's incident management platform that enables AI-driven investigation and evidence management across our ecosystem and c) our Public API that enables programmatic interaction with Verkada devices that includes our enterprise video search system (Helix).Responsibilities:Develop our alert and notification experience, including alert creation and managementCreate state of the art investigation pipeline that prioritizes privacy while protecting people and propertiesComfortable leading whole projects from design to implementation with high degree of ownershipWork on cross-product functionality to enhance Verkada ecosystemRequirements:BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or similar technical field of study4+ years of professional experience as a frontend/full stack engineerExperience building reusable components, utilizing CSS pre-processors and building pixel perfect user interfacesExperience with state management tools (Redux, MobX, etc.) and asynchronous programmingDeep understanding of JavaScript, including contexts, prototypes/classes and closures. Nice to have experience with TypeScriptExperience working with a modern web framework such as React, Angular.js, or Vue
